What is GPM (gallons per minute)?

GPM stands for gallons per minute and measures the volume of water a pressure washing machine outputs. While PSI (pounds per square inch) indicates water pressure or force, GPM tells you how much water is being delivered. The two work together: high PSI without sufficient flow can leave streaks or damage surfaces, while high GPM without adequate pressure may not cut through dirt, grime, or mold effectively.
