What is a turbo nozzle?

A turbo nozzle is a rotating zero-degree nozzle that spins to deliver concentrated pressure over a wider area, combining the force of a zero-degree stream with broader coverage than a fixed nozzle.

A turbo nozzle uses a spinning or rotating mechanism to apply high-pressure water in a zero-degree stream that sweeps across a surface. Unlike fixed nozzles that deliver pressure in one direction, the turbo nozzle's rotation creates a circular motion, expanding effective coverage while maintaining the intensity of pinpoint pressure.

In pressure washing operations around Myrtle Beach, turbo nozzles excel at breaking up tough jobs. Contractors use them to cut through stubborn stains on concrete driveways, remove built-up algae and mildew from weathered siding, strip paint from decks, and clean heavily soiled commercial surfaces. The rotating action prevents the gouging or divoting that can occur with a stationary zero-degree nozzle while still delivering significantly more impact than a 15-degree or 25-degree fixed nozzle.

The design trades some precision for efficiency. A turbo nozzle works best on flat, durable surfaces where the water motion is an asset rather than a liability. Softer materials or detailed work may call for a different nozzle angle instead. Proper PSI (pressure per square inch) and distance from the surface matter, since the spinning action can still damage or etch certain finishes if applied incorrectly.
